It seems, according to Twitter, that the great man is making his 1,000th appearance tomorrow. This is really an amazing achievement and deserves some recognition on here. Congratulations Bazza!

It was reported that he made his 1000th league game at Weymouth for St Neots two weeks ago.

On the Radio Lincs interview with Bazza earlier in the week Bazza pointed out that this weekend was his 1000th league game and the one a few weeks back was league and cup matches combined..

Entirely possible given the length of time Bazza spent at Boston and our record at crashing out of cup competitions prematurely!

When Bazza finally hangs up his gloves he will have a marvellous record.
And if he has played his 1,000th game twice now, can he claim 2,000?
