There are some that would say "Thank God for that, it means no one else can suffer from having him on their books ".
I would say that I thought he had retired from footy.

No money at Northolme, so assume Ferriby have paid up his contract, and what he gets from Trinity is extra to that.
He has only signed until end of the season, so that fits

WE could do with a player like YATES to bring some life to the team, the only one left from the old school as they say  is NEWSHAM and thats cause he never fell for the con of going out on loan. we are full of other clubs rejects.(yawn)

wasn't some Oldham sponsor going to throw a bit your way due to the Ched Evans fiasco?

If you ask other Boston , Gainsboro and NFU fans they will point out that Yates thinks a game only lasts 45 mins .

IF YATES only plays 45min. we don't want him  we have to many of them sort of players, we cant do with any more.
can anyone remember how many goals and assist.did he make for us, we don't need him, but a player like him.

 ;D

lying winger Jamie Yates returns to Gainsborough Trinity from North Ferriby United
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Some players just seem to fit into their surroundings. I always said the Northolme was a bit of a dive.
