Today @ NFU
« on: December 28, 2014, 02:22:34 PM »
Line-up:

J Dixon; Marrs, Mills, Piergianni, Steer; Marshall, Garner, Hollingsworth; Jones, Southwell, Newsham

Subs: McGhee, Felix, Price, Saebe, Vince

No Yates for NFU... but we have 4 teenagers on the bench, however McGhee and Felix are both potential game changers with their pace, maybe for the last 20 minutes?

Hopefully Pidge has another good game against beanpole Denton.
I create YouTube videos (BUFC/FM/CM 01-02), and stream Football Manager on Twitch as BostonUnitedFM.

Well 1 down at half time. Dens decided we need wingers in the second half with McGee and Felix. He's moved Garner into midfield. I reckon that's a positive move. We need to attack them on the deck and not resort to long ball rubbish that they serve up.

Did we use the high/long throw in tactic today?

Yet NFU consistently get the better of us. 3 wins, 1 draw this season. 0 lessons learnt.  :(

Didn't go but wonder if we tried to play exactly as we did 2 weeks ago. Ferriby are effective at what they do. If we hoofed long balls then I'm not surprised we came off second best.

Terrible first half played into ferriby hands by playing long ball, in fairness den admitted he got ot wrong and we played better second half but we didn't take our 2 big chances and we were made to pay for that. Hopefully we can bounce back Thursday.

Sod the football - we've got The Quadrant.  :xmashat
Alan Partridge: "I bet I've got more friends than you've got cows. How many cows have you got?"
Farmer: "I've got 100 cows."
AP: "Well, I've got 104 friends!"

Burgh boy.. you really need to look at the bigger picture without the quadrant development there will be no football club. The quadrant will give us a new stadium fit for purpose and help us progess and become sustainable a sustainable football club.
