Leamington Trip - TRAFFIC
« on: November 15, 2014, 09:05:21 PM »
I live in Rugby and if you're driving your going to hit road works no matter what. I'd leave plenty of time no matter which way you go. The last time I used the A14-M1 cross over, there were significant delays. Tollbar End in Coventry (where A46 meets the A45) will cost you anything from 10 mins to an hour depending on the direction of the wind and the current state of it's re-design. That said if you have a play with the route planner on google maps it's hard to come up with a route that isn't all side roads or road works.

I'd probably go this way if I was coming from Boston, but then again I like country roads.

As the grounds in the middle of no where I'd recommend going into Leamington or Warwick for something to eat.
Touched by his noodly appendage.

Agree with this, rolled up way too early last time.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Sorry Dip but you were too late with your PM you sent me requesting to go pillion , several beat you to it .  If we draw at home to Workington I will give you first chance of a lift to the replay ( subject to you having a crash helmet )

I can get away without a crash helmet, my bald head looks like one from a distance.
