Newsham could help the young lads when available which should be shortly. Anyone who saw the recent u21 games will have noticed how vocal and encouraging he was to the young lads around him pointing out better positions for them to be in etc. Garner and Pidge have over 100 games played between them at this level so no need to bring in an experienced defender. Farman has plenty of experience and will probably be in the team again very shortly.

I agree.

Had fallen a goal behind I do wonder if the players heads would have dropped and we would have had trouble getting back into the game. However, having an older and more experienced player in the middle would counter that.
