It seems that the people who were run over in the roadworks on John Adams Way only have themselves to blame
According to the expert quoted on the front page of the Boston Standard, they probably looked the wrong way when crossing as they were foreign nationals and, as the pubs were open, they'd probably had a few cold drinks.
No blame on the motorists, just advice to slow down to 20 mph, and no mention of the traffic lights being too low either...a nice bit of disinformation, and very useful if somebody did decide to sue :dan
