I can't help but think that having such a young and inexperienced squad has come back to haunt us the last few games.  Marshall should have started as our midfield was clearly lacking someone who was prepared to try and win balls.

Due to a close friends wedding I missed this, however it appears I didn't miss much based on posters and official site.
BUT
It appears we only drew but moved up a place to THIRD in the league.
Whatever is wrong is "wronger" at other clubs??

True, Guiseley suffered their second embarrassing home defeat and Harrogate are currently stuttering.

Brackley have really gone backwards, has the money dried up there?  Could Tamworth charging extra money to supporters of the bigger clubs be a sign of over spending, or just plain greed?

Sorry to disagree, Vince spilled the ball too many times, should have come for the cross that resulted in their goal. Also he wasn't finding players with his kicking, and too slow with his decisions . That is the reason Gledhill is a more competent keeper. I thought it was a good game to watch, with some good fast passing on the floor. Midfield and back four were good, covering for each other and getting the ball forward. The main problem is in the striking position. I would try Meadows up front as a striker, he has bags of pace, heading ability, and energy looking as fresh at the end as when he started. Fully agree with Meadows as man of the match.

We desperately need a striker with some pace and power. We need to look for another gem. Surely Ryan Robbins from stamford has to be worth a look? scoring for fun in the league below.

A fee will be required .

I raised the query last week-- but little response.
What has Connor Marshall done wrong?
We need more strength in midfield plus a striker.

Two players have left. Very pleased Liam has come back.
But that leave some cash for one addition.
Come on Mr Genius get us a new striker.
Wonder if he has looked at this lad from stamford.
Better do it quick or you know who will be sniffing around

Reynolds + Dickinson wages  minus Marrs wages would maybe only leave enough money for a run of the mill Northern league striker .

Yeah, but to balance that we have so many youngsters, which few if any will be on what we would probably deem high wages.
Pidge, Garner and certainly Newsh, presumably when he gets back in the team will be the highest earners, with the the next tier down I would guess and it is only a guess around the £175/£225 mark, Steers, Mills, Marrs and possibly Dowie followed by the likes of Galinski, Mcghee, Marshall, Gledhill and even Southwell around the £140 to £175 and the rest I assume will all be very cheap due to inexperience and ages.....should leave a decent pot for a forward, if and that's the word, if DG can find one.

Someone mentioned Robins earlier and actually sa him a couple of times with son in law last season and yes he could definitely 100% make the move up, but two possible draw backs, I think he lives near Leicester somewhere and second would involve a transfer fee which one assumes we most certainly don't have
