According to the Stockport forum. 2,700 with 39 from North Ferriby.

I was disappointed with ours. Take out the 150 extra away fans than normal and it's 1150, which is poor for an opening day against a title contending team.
If we'd have got the Ferriby home support that's a 1600 crowd, but hopefully the public will start going if we get a good start

and at least we know Harrogat£ and Fyld£'s crowds are sustainable... good god....
And it'll be 2 low ones at Brackley and Colwyn Bay for our 2 games.... will we crack 300 in either game?

What sort of attendances did Hyde get in the div up, has that terrible season decimated their club?

We always have this discussion at the opening few home games, holidays, harvest etc seem to really affect the first few fixtures where other clubs get large opening games.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

9th best in non-league yesterday according to this, but is missing Stockport.

Hyde averaged 689 last year, but that would include higher away support.
I create YouTube videos (BUFC/FM/CM 01-02), and stream Football Manager on Twitch as BostonUnitedFM.

If think we have only had 1100 odd last couple of years for the first home game so all in all yesterdays gate was about right with a larger than normal away following. Road works are all over the place at the moment from personal experience which would have put some off.

I could not make yesterday's match.  But I used to stand in a group of about 20, now down to 4/5.  Sadly some have passed away, and some were so pi**ed off with what happened with the club, they stopped coming and have got out of the habit.
The older I get, the earlier it gets late

From my usual vantage point it seems the Spayne Road has started to look sparse in recent games. I'd have said that certain areas of that stand would have had the same people for the last 30 yrs, sadly they can't continue to come forever.  The community element of the club is a must if it is to survive and thrive, people need to feel an affiliation with the club from a young age.
