heard on lincs fm today that there chairman has said that if the woman who is manager of the England ladies applied,.  it would be considered.now that is different  :o

Sky news linked Hope Powell with the Grimsby job the day it became vacant.She took England ladies to semi finals of world cup if my memory serves me right.She could do a good job there and i say the ladies matches at top level on tv have been equally as entertaining as some of prem games shown and some time in the near future there will be women in management in the mens game.will be interesting to see how she fairs if she gets it as she's a good tactiction

 I thought that Mike Newell would of done better there. Saying that I dislike Grimsby Town with a passion so its a bonus the longer they stay near the bottom of league 2.

Have to admit since that obnoxious "Grimsbyfan" started to post on here a season or three back i have started to smile somewhat  at their position  ;D ;D
