The latest ex bufc player to sign for spalding. Now they really are scraping the barrel.

What were they doing before hand then?

Some staggeringly average players there bigged up as per usual by the usual suspects.

If they were any good they'd not be at a non club like Spalding, a poor mans North Ferriby.

270 attendance for Spalding's last home game of last season. Somebody somewhere is making a huge loss by funding these signings, and it'll all go belly up at some stage.

I would have thought signing Cullingworth would be a good move as he was solid when with us.

Signing Ross is just stupid, they don't need him to get out of that division, it's a waste of money.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Surely Ross can do better than that.

Spalding probably made him an offer he couldn't refuse, Plus several of his ex-BUFC team mates are there which would have persuaded him either more.

How long before Milnes and/or Fairclough joins them?

Does anybody else find the relentlessly cocky and upbeat new player announcements on Spalding's website (with liberal use of exclamation marks) completely over the top and tiresome (all their players seem to be 'stellar' signings, for example)'? Give me Craig's measured tones every time.

I see what you mean. However, at least they keep their website up-to-date. Some clubs at senior level haven't updated their sites for 4 years or so. Nothing worse than having a site with excellent graphics but a lazy arsed webmaster who never updates. Craig's website is superb - good information and excellent webmaster.
