Reserves last fixture of Season v Horncastle Town tomorrow
« on: April 25, 2014, 09:47:11 PM »
This is billed on the main club site as "their final Sills and Betteridge Lincolnshire League fixture" and I have to hope that Craig's headline is literally true - or at least until this appalling League is worthy of our second string's membership. To end a season with just 12 teams (which should have really been 11 if the League Committee had any sort of disciplinary backbone) and to expect clubs to wait 5 weeks between fixtures is just not on. Vinno and his coaching team have done a brilliant job this season and I hope they will all continue with the club next season in whatever competition the Reserves participate in. Whatever happens, the club need to keep a 2nd XI as so many players have come through the ranks to feature in the first team. Well done lads!!  :bunny

Alan Partridge: "I bet I've got more friends than you've got cows. How many cows have you got?"
Farmer: "I've got 100 cows."
AP: "Well, I've got 104 friends!"
