Can do. I'll start it up again after the last pre-season game at Grantham on Tuesday evening.

Should be fun.

Can't help feeling I should do better than I do. I've got a PhD in Applied Maths, a powerful computer, access to loads of statistics and I see quite a few games as well. Yet last season I was almost beaten by MENOTSKINNY whose prediction strategy appears to be to predict a 2-1 win for Boston every game with an attendance close to the average.

Nobody predicted the correct score and only uncleremus and Artemis predicted the attendance within 30 of the correct value.

So we have a new champion. Well done deano well clear of the pack.

One of the things I liked this year was the little battles between family members. Who would end up with bragging rights. Would it be Grimlips or Mrs Grimlips; Bostonshire or vikp19; Challis51 or Challis51's wonderful wife; bostonwoody or Beth; noughtyforties or joshb?
