Dennis Greene tweets......
« on: April 11, 2014, 04:22:24 PM »
If this is the DG we all love so much (the fraudster) I think his call to ban a certain poster on Patter via Twitter (885 followers) just serves to highlight the true character of the man. :bunny

Reminds one of the glory days when Evans use to post on here under various aliases (Pink Panther etc)

I wonder if Mr Newton will have to call him into his office for a wee chat?

Over to you Dave!  :-*

SP

PS. Dennis please feel free to come on here and talk to your fans (although judging by your tweet you already read the forum) Don't take the bait you're a manager of a football club - not terribly professional.

You should be above these sort of things shouldn't you?  :D

If you wish to retract the tweet and tweet for SP to be made a lifelong Patter member  it may save any future embarrassment? :bunny

Using social media for a bit of light hearted connection with fans and colleagues is unprofessional,

Using a public forum for a solo constant assault on everything a football club does....?

Calling for a ban on a member of Patter just because DG was wound up a bit?  Not unprofessional?

You are a sillier boy than I thought!  :dan

You can imagine the headlines " Convicted fraudster and Football club manager singles out fan and calls for him to be banned from a football forum"  :)

Was it a "fan " that DG singled out ?

Despite you having 'pilgrim' in yr profile name, you most definitely DO NOT support Boston Utd so are not a fan of this Club.

But not stupid to realise that all this effectively means nothing. Jokingly asking for the removal of an unknown pseudonym from what is essentially a gossip column of a non league football club is never headline news.

Dearest Artemis,

Currently SP does not support the feckless management of BUFC.

As a consequence SP ensures that not a penny of his cash ends up in club coffers (for the time being at least).

Anyway on a more metaphysical note what does it really mean "to support a club"?

A lot of fans go along to watch a game and cheer but they would never get more involved. They call themselves fans but would they spend time and money and travel hundreds of miles to away games? Not many do clearly, but you cannot tell them they are not fans.

Some hardcore supporters and those with enough nous to know that gangsters had taken over the club actually did something about it. Others stood by or even joined the gravy train.
So I am never impressed by those who try to play the "fan" card especially fickle Boston fans.  I bet you watch other matches on TV and cheer for one side or another.

For the record SP will be supporting Argentina in the forthcoming World Cup and this might change again in 2018 ::)

Las Islas Malvinas son nuestras.

Happy Passover
