Whilst some of the points raised by SP may not be agreeable to most and often repeated ad nauseum with little relevance to the subject matter at hand, i do not sit comfortably with banning of someone for expressing a view in a country that allows free speech.

I think that there is a need for reasonable behaviour within postings ie no swearing, abuse of any kind etc but banning someone for this is not the answer.  We can scroll past any comments if we choose not to read them as there is no limit on the amount of postings in a subject or subjects.

I would not agree with a ban.

Is there a possibility of creating a thread that only Scouse can post to, airing his daily grievances without disrupting other unrelated threads? Better than an outright ban.

What's the score Ken?  Should I pen my letter of resignation now or sit it out?  :bunny

I have noted all the names and they have gone in my little black book!  Including yours Pike!

It is heartwarming to see that free speech, fine grammar and punctuation are so highly regarded by some Patterers! :dan

Oh, leave him alone. What else will we do for entertainment? Everyone has the right to make a prat of himself; even me!

with his inane postings

"Inane" for those of you who can't use Google means lacking in sense and substance.

So rather like Ken's poll on whether SP should be banned (or not).

Funny,  I remember very well how upset Ken was when Sotnick tried to ban Patter and Ken sadly capitulated.

Sotnick was full of empty promises and Ken should have called his bluff :bunny
