I'd agree with you for once Scotty, Jones would bring some much needed height to the attack.

Not 100% sure about him though, I liked him when he was here, but he shone in a shocking team, in a reasonable team will he get found out?

With better players around him its not unreasonable to suggest that he could do even better

16 goals for us before Christmas is a great return. I think he could do a job for us again he just made a terrible move to trinity.

Very true....never performed in a Blue shirt.....not as good a striker as Mettam, who got moved onto Worksop and is still banging them in.
Housham rated him as an "impact" player (Metts) yet moved for Jones who never made any kind of impact :(

Was Jones a Swann signing or a Housham Signing thou as we all know Swann had a inability of not keeping his nose out of the team.

As for what managers say, I.e good impact player. He aint gonna say owt bad about one of those his boss signs.

Summit we may never know but something Housham may have in his defence

I'd have him back on reasonable wages.

Clearly he felt he was learning stuff off Jason Lee. Maybe he would feel the same about being managed by another centre forward.
