Sounds like we should have drawn at least. I personally think we will still be in this league next season.

I do not think we are to far from a team that will go up, And to be honest i think Greene and Boston can take pride in making a team like telford celebrate a win over us f like they would if they won the fa cup. Lets be honest with there better fan base and less overheads where the grounds concearned they should have the budget to be beating teams like us for fun.

So chin up,

P.s well done to newsham on his 100 althou he maybe feeling a bit **** right now

Well done to Newsh for his century but it should have been 103. Two glorious headed chances and the penalty, which was pretty poor and easy for the keeper.

Was a pretty poor first half up until the goal, and overall we created the better chances.

The ref was dreadful, there was a clear foul that directly led to thier second goal. You could tell he knew he made a mistake because he gave every decision our way afterwards. Not entirely sure it was a penalty either, might have got the ball actually. I'd rather refs just got the decisions right straight away, rather than trying to "even it up".

Frustrating day.

Yep all teams in any league have a poor run at some stage.Strangely enough only STILL 6 points of top slot and if NEWSH had bagged that pen!!! Listening to SHROPSHIRE RADIO we gave them a game alright we just need to get to bagging them chances in again like at start season.Disappointed with todays result but not disheartened with the season so far.Can we push on 2nd half of season, only time will tell.......SEE YOU AT HISTON

We can't get too downbeat about the current dip in form. We have made lots of progress this season and we must continue to support DG and the club. Only when we get our new stadium will we be able to compete financially. Keep the faith. Up the pilgrims

Good commentary team at BBC Shropshire , impartial by local radio standards .   They predict Boston will make play-offs .
Saw KON and Joshb on train , did anyone see KON at the match .

Nah, I think KoN was on family duties today, he's done his away match for the season.

Totally unplanned I somehow ended up about 10 miles from Telford at 2 o'clock this afternoon, so I thought I'd pop over and take in the game. Got there just after kickoff and a kind steward didn't kick me out when he spotted me taking photographs. So here are a few snaps in my public Facebook Album:

More thoughts here
http://underthefloodlightsblog.wordpress.com/afc-telford-united-v-boston-united-skrill-north-281213/

But to be honest, we more than matched them, but they took their chances and we didn't. As bad as the ref was, and he was appalling, you can't miss 2 simple headers and a penalty and expect to win away at these teams.
A pity, as the only game I've felt that we deserved nothing was Ferriby away. All the others, we should've got a point or even 3

Shame we couldn't be more clinical with our finishing yesterday.  Looking forward to seeing us get back to winning ways on NYD at histon hopefully.

Anyways, after a disappointing result, I always have a nosey on the gimps forum. It never fails to put a smile back on my face. I'd recommend it to any pilgrims suffering from the festive blues.

From all accounts, we played really well, on another day could have won comfortably, it appears we created enough chances, and tho the loss is disappointing we must continue the 3-5-2 formation played, and not just because I have been saying so all season, and not either because we started with exactly the team I suggested a couple of days ago!!!! (thanks for listening Dennis ;D) but because apparently one blatant foul on Pidge apart which gave them their second goal, we apparently defended well, were mobile in the middle and had chances galore. The only change for Wednesday and that obviously depends on his fitness is to put Miller up front with Newsh, a pairing we have been crying our for all season. A three, four game winning run will see us right back up their and thats what we have to aim for starting NYD
