It was contrived as Colwyn Bay did not accept a replacement linesman for 7 minutes!!!

They didn't have to do so, the match only continues if both teams agree. Rules is rules.

So they lost the replay 2 - 0 due in part to their continued lack of discipline as the managed to pick up another Red card before Altrincham  scored.
