I remember the other year winning 1st prize in the raffle at Vauxhall Motors, it was 8 cans of Guinness. Bloody brilliant

Wouldn't a tin of baked beans or eight cans of Guinness be considered as offensive weapons inside a lot of football stadiums? I hope the stewards pulled the lids off the prizes so that they couldn't be used as missiles!

they could only afford to pay 10 players and we could still only put 1 past them  ;) ;)

Why bust a gut if you can contain, score one and take the points. I did not go last night but from what im told it was a tight edgy game where trinity played well but none of the teams set the world on fire.

Its points that count not goals and away from home it dont bother me if we are complete rubbish if we get a win

my grandad went and he said had WARD not slipped we would never had scored,he also said WARD was best player on the pitch and we should never had let him go.   ;)

And how many times did Ward have a good game for us but give away a late howler to concede defeat?  I think we'd have continued to knock on the door until the goal came, we were perma in their half and the only team with the ball.  It wasn't like Colwyn who played really well even at 9 men.  Gainsborough were sinking and running out of energy and chase.

A very biased opinion of a very close game

I agree with steeli on this. We may have scored we may not but gainsborough were trying very hard. Saying that ward is totally useless. even from the start ward was just hacking it anywhere. And he messed up as expected
