Follow today's match on 'United Live' - boston-united.blogspot.com

The match MAY not go ahead though, due to high winds...

Tell 'em to get it down and play it on the deck then...... don't these footballers have brains?  ;) ::)

Can't remember us having a game called off for the wind before.

The test is: Will the ball remain stationary when placed on the ground? If not, the game cannot start/continue.

Was sat in the bar when it was called off.. someone said Evans was having to hold the ball American Football-style for Butcher to kick it in the warm up. If that's true, it's the right decision.

However, why not make the decision at 12 o'clock? Or even 1 o'clock? Give people time to weigh up options regarding other games, rather than force them to f*ck off back home...

St James park was in use, you could have gone there, sounded a terrible game from reports though
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

St James Park? Wouldn't have made it to Exeter!

I went to St James' Park, really enjoyed it and thought it was a good game!  Newcastle reminded me of Boston - they batterered the opposition for 90 minutes but just couldn't score.  Referee missed an absolute stone wall penalty too.
