Boston United's annual fireworks spectacular takes place at The Jakemans Stadium on Friday evening, with tickets on sale throughout the day.

Spectators can buy their tickets between 9.00am and 8.00pm, although early purchases are recommended to avoid queues on the night itself.

Tickets are priced £5 for adults, £3 for under-16s and £12 for family foursomes.

Pre-display entertainment features a Tribute to the Stars live music act, Tobias the Clown mingling with the crowd plus appearances from the United Cheer Team and Tiny Pilgrims.

Gates open at 6.00pm with fireworks expected at 8.00pm.

The event has been kindly sponsored by Ambitions Personnel, with associate sponsorship from HGV Truck and Trailer Parts, Jakemans Comfectioners, Lincolnshire Co-operative, TaylorITEX and Workforce Unlimited.

A good candidate for someone to be put on top of the fire has just come to mind. Just make sure you check for those little prickly things that may be hiding under the rubbish, some things are worth saving from the flames. Anyway, it wouldn't have been a waste of gunpowder if the plot had succeeded.

Yes indeed, it was a great firework display in spite of the wet weather.  Well done again BUFC and all concerned.
