Talking of long trips.....does anyone know why the idiots running the A16 road works near Spalding Morrisons decided to do the two bridges at different times therefore doubling the length of time the queues will delay my journey?

Ferret, if you're going to Spalding take the first left after the golf course, it's a small road that brings you round very conveniently to the front of the queue. Mind, they are scheduled to finish this week so this may be a little late

They did all three bridges between the power station and the road turning into Spalding at the Common.

If he's training with us twice a week as well, then I'm not sure how the journey can be sustainable long term. However good a player he is, there's always the risk that he'll be the next Dean Nicholson or Kevin Holsgrove. Maybe the solution is to try and pick up a couple of other players from the London area to share the driving and expenses.

By the way, what's Anthony Church doing these days?
