Only thing to say really is well done to the team. Two consecutive long trips so will be tired. Need a rest before the home game on Tuesday where hopefully they will do us proud again. As for 'Ant n Dec' , the commentary team, thankyou and thank the blind cameraman for us !

Nope, it was a good win, although we didn't really look like scoring until Ross smashed it in, great goal.

We dominated the second half, deserved winners.

Got to give den credit for changing his tactics at half time and went with two ball winners in midfield to bully them and get the ball back quickly and it worked a treat. Let's keep this up!!!

Sorry Myleftfoot. I'm sure your Today will be better than my Todays Game. If I had put it on Yesterday it would have been too early so perhaps Tomorrow would have been better. I think what happened was your Today was posted while I was doing my Today and I posted mine and then switched off. Perhaps my Today would have been as good as your Today but no offence taken for us merging.
P.S. Roll on Tuesday.
Anyway a bloody good result whichever day it is. Have a happy Tomorrow.  :)

Solid 5th place for the boys . . though strangely you have to go to 15th  place to see someone they have beat   .. (Gloucester)

maybe we have just found our needed bite in midfield with Stefan and Conor.
we need this in an increasingly physical league

I think that's the way we will need to play in alot of games away from home in this league and maybe at home play with the two playmakers?? I believe den is trying to sign a new midfielder??

Took an Ian Ross worldie to get us going after a poor first half hour but once we scored, there was no looking back. A couple of towering headers in the 2nd half and by-and-large a solid defensive effort (maybe Timms could've stayed on his feet early on- it just looked a penalty even though there seemed to be littler or no contact)
But 3pts on the road are always good- everyone else round us bar Alty won, we can approach the BPA game in confident mood and hopefully right the wrongs of that 4-0 hammering on the coldest of cold days.

We've also done better in the 5 fixtures we had last year this time around. We've beaten Worcester, gloucester, Guiseley and drawn at Vauxhall/Oxford- all better results than the respective games last season, so that is also noteworthy.

The only slight grumble would be the first half hour was poor and against the best we have to come back from more than 1 down but that would be nit-picking, well done all.

I think DG got his tactics wrong first half. Bore is certainly a right back and not a forward and offers us alot going forward from defence. At least he changed it and got it right second half.
