FA CUP v STAFFORD RANGERS
Att: 1349
Won  3-1
Kevin Blackwell, Trevor Parr, Arthur Mann (Player Manager), Kevin Bird, Phil Jones, Ian Wood, Paul Casey, Chris Cook(2), Bob Lee, Gary Mallender(1), David Gilbert and sub was the current Lincoln City boss Gary Simpson who went on to captain the team at Wembley 18 months later.
We went on to play BURY at home in the next round but got beat 3-0 with Trevor Parr getting sent off ....and Kevin Blackwell is now the manager at Bury!

I remember both games well, the Bury one went down in legend thanks to TP's genuinely hilarious red card, I was by the tunnel when he lamped Wayne Entwhistle.........not the 1st time I've seen the Old Bill take people down that tunnel.........!!!!!!! ;D ;D
