BUFC registered the grey goalie top as the "home" goalie top before Timms announced he was going to wear pink for charity and the Conference have now said that as that was the registered home top Timms can only wear pink at away games. More likely a warning rather a fine on this occasion. Agree petty decision and money raised was for a good cause.
BUT have we not learnt yet that these football Committees are bound by red tape. Perhaps, we should have asked or told the League that our goalkeepers are wearing pink at home this season rather than just go ahead and do it and get their backs up again. Thanks to the Evans regime, we have to remember we are not a popular club within the Conference and committees WILL pull us up for infringements whenever possible. :bunny
