That won't happen.

We're not a bankrolled joke of a club who never have been anything and who never will be anything other than a tinpot outfit run for the benefit of a couple of hundred people.

Amazing how quiet your loudmouth braggart of a manager is now Swann's cleared off to Scunthorpe with his money, he's now being exposed as the piss poor manager we all suspected he was........

I do moan about us and our situation, but I'd rather have it and the current board's stability to the utter shambles at Gainsborough now your 'Sugar Daddy' has found another Subbuteo set to play with.

Steve will put things right, sugar daddy or not,of that I'm sure...as for being a loudmouth, not once have I heard him raise his voice apart from the touchline which you might expect.

And yes Peter Swann has gone with his money but that was his choice to come to us and his choice to leave...if he had chosen Boston you wouldn't have welcomed him with open arms?..course you wouldn't.

Nah, I'm not sure we'd be taken in again.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Population of Histon               4520
Population of North Ferriby    3893

Two Village teams in the same Lge, think the original poster has the correct forum name :bunny.

chill out everybody-- yes it was a very disappointing result yesterday, but if we win on Saturday it will be 10 points from the first 5 games and before the start of the season we would probably have been very happy with that.

The one thing that does concern me though is we seem very easily to go to the long ball punt. With this set up its useless unless you have a big centre forward, an option we do not have. If it means moving one of the existing squad out to get a new target man centre forward in then it should be done straight away.

Playing this way will lead to more disappointments. We look a small team compared to all other teams so far.

I see we were described as "Big Spending" Boston in the newspaper article by the North Ferriby press reporter:

http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/Jarman-brace-Ferriby-beat-big-spending-Boston/story-19712138-detail/story.html#axzz2d9zbM0tj

Seems a little deluded!

That is quite ironically funny. They may be a village team, but yesterday they were very strong, very organised and stuck to their game plan for 90 minutes. It wasn't pretty but their non stop aerial bombardment had us on our back throughout and I rather fancy they will win far more matches then they lose playing in this manner

The match preview also called us big-spending - is this just poor reporting by a Hull-based newspaper that knows nothing about non-league football, or are they trying to deflect attention from Ferriby's own big spending?
From the fact that Jaime Yates is playing for them, I assume Ferriby must have the biggest budget in the division!
