Nothing less than expected really, but i know its early doors but it looked like last season all over again as with Tuesday night just not taking our chances if thats a league game it is far too nervy with only being one goal ahead, but all in all i think it was a good workout for the lads.

It was interesting to hear Greene say to mills that stainsfield was on 175 at boston last season and spalding have more than doubled it

Listen at yourselves.......

Its Spalding Utd, 2 leagues below us, we should despatch them and look reasonable.......although in fairness the last manager made some right tin pot sides look like Barcelona, so you can call the performances an improvement going on that basis.

Its hardly Stockport or Telford, just out of the Conference is it?

Lets judge the team on those game, not UCL and NPL South sides.........

Agreed in general, but don't forget we lost to Spalding last pre season and at that time were well and truly second best to them! Time will tell if we're ready for the Stockports and Telfords of this world, but we're light yearss ahead of where we were twelve months ago.

Quite agree Richard.........although not brimming with confidence about a play off push I'd agree the signings so far appear to give more cause for optimism than the great majority of JL's efforts over the last two close seasons.

But I do laugh at some of the comments though, its a friendly workout against a UCL team but certain posters bigging up of players is laughable.....lets see where they are and what they are doing in 6 months.

Think Spalding are three leagues below us Andy ,  Not like you to make our performance look better than it is  ;)

Those figures sound way of the mark SP.
