Stars set to roll back the years
Star-studded line-up for Town v United Legends fixture next week

A galaxy of Boston's best footballing talent from down the years will be on show next week.

A Boston Town Legends XI will entertain a Boston United Legends XI at Tattershall Road on Sunday April 28.

The event is to raise money for the Butterfly Hospice Trust, which is staging a charity bike ride ending at the ground that day.

Among the former players turning out for the Poachers will be all-time leading goalscorer Gary Bull and the club's last championship-winning captain Dean Elston.

Also lined up for the game are Derrick Nuttell, who skippered the team during their 1993-94 FA Vase run, plus crowd favourites Paul Goodhand, Dave Scotney and Graham Neal.

Both teams are likely to add further players before the game, whick kicks off at 12.30pm.
