Very happy listening to a proper manager on the radio.Better than a brickie trying to be a football manager!
Told you lot that Dreary was the ringmaster in the circus!
I and a few others weren't fooled by his bullshit and Newbies!

Really good performance from us today against a team high up.
First half was fairly even but we were well in the game- just lacked the final pass to create chances. Got fortunate the linesman spotted 2 offsides for their goals, but from the other end can't say but there were few complaints.

2nd half was more of the same but we managed to put it together and with a bit of luck off the defelection, went in front. They came at us for a bit and should've scored with some chances but we were never defending too deep and looked a threat going forwards and got the 2nd from the corner.

A really solid display by the back 5- they threw a fair bit at us but we never buckled and Haysteam commanded his area really well and made 2 really good saves first half. Midfield played well, no way overpowered by theirs and SWD looked livelier than I've seen him in past games.

Overall, a great day out- nice clubhouse and they had a kids for free day with raffles etc and there was a great atmosphere by both sets of fans- its just a pity their car park and walkways are flooded and muddy and there is no completed stand at one end.
And also a nice touch from the manager to come through the walkway and thank us as we were walking by the tunnel in the stand.

Been on holiday in the middle east so did not get to see the last two games, had no idea the manager had gone and been replaced so didn't know what to expect today. It was a suprise to see Nathan starting in midfield but what a stroke of genius by the manager, He made life quite comfortable for the back four breaking up attacks with some ferocious tackling and heading, one tackle in particular in the first half set the tone, it had Brackley players screaming for a free kick and the ref shouting "great tackle lad" as the game wore on he dominated midfield defence wise allowing Rossy and co to play some great stuff through the middle. Of course it wasn't all Stainfield as every single player was on their game, I only emphasise Stainfields role as it is an area where we have struggled all season. I must make mention of Haystead who played very well so much so that Brackley supporters were asking who he was and how good he was even Billy Turley who had a good banter with our fans was praising him.
A great day, a cracking game, wonderful start for the new manager and lots of encouragement for the rest of the season and beyond. Lets get everyone back to york street behind the team and ensuring a bright future for our great club.
