If it is then so be it. It's the manager's job to pick and choose who he feels can do the best job for the Club. His CV indicates that he has had an extremely good record in doing just that and I see no reason why BUFC should be any different, especially when he has carte blanche in selecting his players  :)

Just a quick visit to ask some of you headless chickens to consider this. Most on here appreciate and put total trust in the chairman David Newton and have given him your total backing from the day he saved the club from oblivion, and rightly so. So why are you now turning against him by questioning and condemning his decisions?. Don't say its Graham Drury and not David Newton you are criticising (some to the point of hatred) for they must be working together and the comings and goings can only be made with the chairmans blessing. Many supporters were crying out for a change of manager and a clear out of some of the players living in the comfort zone.
There is absolutely no problem with people stating their views and commenting on performances of the team etc but some of you give the impression that you don't give a fig about the club and it woudn't bother you in the slightest if the chairman was to call it a day, certainly if that happened that would be the end of BUFC with hundreds of good honest fans (the majority) who do not spew out their negativity and hatred on here being left devastated.
PLEASE GET BEHIND THE THE CLUB AND JUDGE PROGRESS EARLY NEXT SEASON.

agree with most but do you think the chairman knows about the departures before they are posted on this forum?

Doubt if he knows them all or indeed would want to, kon. The Chairman of a club normally sets the financial parameters that a manager can work to and then leaves them to their own devices as to how they spend it. For me that's surely the best way  :)

Voice of sanity, oxo.  The people criticising GD for making so many changes are the same people who were criticising JL for not having put together a good enough squad of players.
You can't have it both ways - we clearly needed changes and you can't knock the bloke for having a go and making changes.  People criticised S&H for retaining so few players when they joined, but their new broom approach worked.  Why not again?
