Can't disagree there are some thickos amongst our support - we have some world class knuckle draggers - but we're not all that bad. Same as every other club really, we have a mixed bag - the good, the bad, the ugly.

Wow, that's a record for getting your excuses in early.

As for the 'scuffle.'  Generally I find that when these things occur and go beyond a bit of verbal that there is usually two or more people windmilling so someone from the other side of that piss poor excuse for segregation must have fancied a bit of a go.

We all condemn the trouble causers, we know there's always been a few knuckledraggers in the support, I suppose its the price you pay for being a 'big' club with a fan base to match.

But by all accounts the stewarding was woeful and befitting of a small club used to dealing with crowds in the low hundreds, not tens of hundreds.

When your club sorts its issues out come back and we might take you seriously.

No it wasent just a few,our stewards escorted half a dozen of your morons through our fans at half time and they abused our fans as they passed through just spoiling for a fight.

We have had chester halifax and grimsby here in bigger numbers than boston and never a problem, but you lot never change...I know quite a few mariners fans and not one of them have a good word to say about boston.

Proper segregation usually involves putting space between fans, and not just a gate, when you share a terrace. Try adding a 2nd gate, that gives a bit of a buffer.

In fairness, I remember going to the Unibond Challenge Cup final in the late 90s against Trinity at Sincil Bank and, despite our support behaving impeccably, Trinity fans were busting a gut to get past Lincoln's stewards to fight Boston supporters. So it works both ways. No excuses, of course, and I know this was many years ago - but the point stands. Hopefully CCTV will have caught the offenders today and they can be dealt with accordingly. Regular level headed Boston fans will no doubt be ashamed of their fellow supporters. We're not all 'scum'.
