Awesome, I loved this guy. He had an almost pathalogical compulsion to beat every single player in front of him - twice - to the point where he'd rather run the ball off the field of play than making a nice simple pass to a player free in the middle. And you can't argue with his devotion to the cause. It'll be great to see him back at YS!

I vaguely remember a pre-season friendly at Spalding United one year.

Steve Adams was playing down the wing, and the chairman of the time Pat Malkinson was stood near the touchline eating an ice cream. Adams ran off the pitch and licked the ice cream before promptly returning into play!
