A totally random stab in the dark suggestion:

"We have no money, we owe someone a million and we are a million and a half in debt. The only way to fund a new ground is to move and use the option (thanks Boston Sportsfund) we have on Tattershall Road to make a load of wonga that we see us enjoy a comfortable retirement in Bora Bora, and anything remaining (ho! ho! ho!) will be used as a down payment on some brussel sprout field.

Then it is up to Melvin to start fundraising for about 150 years so the new ground can be finished".  :bunny
The B-Ark.  For Boston fans to talk about anything and everything they want to. Including trolls.

The forum was to introduce the new management team but the inevitable issue of the ground was raised in the following way. '' If the club was to gain promotion will the ground situation allow it?''. The chairman replied that the criteria for promotion to the Blue Sqare Premier is a one year tenure on the ground and ten years to the football league and our lease has another five years left. This lead to a request for an update on the ground situation.
It was explained that there were two sites identified with a preference for one, however, having options gives that bit of bargaining power.
Regular meetings have been taking place with the borough council regarding possible financial assistance ( this would not be in form of a grant and the people of Boston would be repaid every penny) other approaches have been made to grant bodies. It is still the clubs intention to be in a position to apply for planning permission within the next six months. It is thought that once planning permission has been granted it will make recruiting partners to develop the sight that much more attractive.
This is what I understand was said last night and I hope this goes some way to explaining the situation to those fans who coudn't make it.

Ps,
The chairman also said that speaking with chairmen of Prem clubs he was suprised at the cost of running such a club and felt that if we were promoted we were already in line with those costs and the higher gates would enable us to make that transition comfortably although we need to get gates up this season as we are still losing money.

BITTER AND TWISTED TWADDLE  (the only bit that makes any sense on your  posts these days is the bit at the bottom of each of them.)

"Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience."

So I won't argue with you.

Lets be more positive lets take the GRIM out of pilGRIM patter.
(from a so called on many occasions happy clapper)
