when i say happen here i am of course referring to this country and not bufc in particular

its not unknown for assaults on match officials at youth and local league level

Time to arm the officials with CS gas or pepper spray or both.  That would shut up some of the stuff that goes on during matches.  Any dissent give 'em a quick spray. Two sprays for simulation and a dozen for racial abuse; two dozen if they play for Chelsea.  :bunny

Ref' likely to be mugged if he/she gets in with the crowd.

Provide the stewards with cattle prods I suggest (except the BUFC ones who would probably electrocute themselves)
