Female Ref
« on: November 23, 2012, 09:11:30 PM »

Not intending this thread to be sexist, but have we ever had a female referee at York Street before? We've got one tomorrow ... Sarah Garratt.

I've seen female officials in United matches but can only ever recall them in away games. So will tomorrow be a York Street first?

Assuming that the linesmen are males, does the club need to scramble together some volunteer builders tomorrow morning to build an extra changing room?

One of our regular songs on the Town End is "We've got another fit ref."

Yes she was very impressive  ;D

The red card looked a tad harsh, but other than that I thought that she got most things right, and was the best ref we have had this season.

And, if the facilities are not up to the mark at York street, she is welcome in my shower anytime.
