Has been told he can leave Grimsby on a free .  Rumoured that he was ordered to stay away from Blundell Park for todays game .

Wages too expensive I'd guess, think the front line we have are just as good tbh, we need strengthening at centre back and centre mid imo (to cover for potential injuries).

green hats mate, if you look at the cv's of the majority of  strikers most have lots of previous clubs. so does that mean you wouldn't sign any of them ? i would say if we were lacking up front we should at least try and bring him home. but we are not lacking there, and as for centre back. maybe we do need one more, but thats more for cover as ward/stainfield partnership is solid.

Best clue is why does a player leave  his club .
Some often appear to depart on bad terms with the manager , not a good sign !!!
