Apparently Matt Thornhill was on trial for the reserves Tuesday against Skegness United, ex Nottingham Forest and just last season Scottish Premier League side Hibernian.
Could be a big signing for us. Thoughts

Looks as though he has had a decent career so far, cut short by a serious looking injury...................... I guess he will have to prove his fitness first and if he does that he could be a very useful signing.

Would be a VERY useful signing - Saw him play a few times for forest and looked like he had a good career in front of him .

Would be a very good replacement for Wilson who does not look like he'll be fit before the end of his loan stint. Funded no doubt through no replacement for Miller and a few pennies saved on expenses from French and Munn....hope he's not asking for a lot.

Thornhill wasn't the only new name in the line-up from the match report against Skegness. I haven't personally come across the names Daniel Miller or Arran Stirland before either.
I haven't bothered trying to find anything about Miller via google as it is just too common a name. But Stirland appears to be a striker who has had spells with Rainworth Miners and Ilkeston. Interesting link here ...
