« on: September 21, 2012, 11:52:27 PM »
No I've not been drinking ! My son shouted me 20 mins ago and showed me a green coloured object travelling horizontally through the sky.My first thoughts it was a plane on fire.Does anybody know if it could have been a meteorite.Ive seen a few shooting stars but nothing like this before!

I saw it, thought it was an aircraft about to land near Peterborough.
Didn't know you could land anything there  ???
10.56pm,  burner at the front end with two small white lights behind, which I assumed were the wingtips.
It's was very low  :o and not a single drink!

It seemed to leave a trail, I thought it was a plane in trouble.
