 If the rules are the same ..they'll get  about £ 5000 for just turning up ..

Not quite, they've already got £2250, but we'll get £3000 for beating them!  Despite the link showing last year in the URL, it is this years?

 para 22 (b) of FAC RULES  covers it ..
  It seems VAT is deducted...no slice to F.A  before 3rd Round Proper..
