The issue of "comps" is a serious one.

Fans should all be treated the same.

If you ran a business and gave some customers  better deals than others do you think that would be a good business model? Would it inspire loyalty or resentment?

Not to mention the fact that Dave can't manage to run a balanced budget.

Fans may want to know if he is giving out comps to potential customers/business associates of Chestnut Homes?

Why should some have to pay for their admission and others not?  :bunny

His club, His Rules, Him the foots the shortfall if he doesn't take his £15 off his friends.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Dear Scouser.  I am always on the match-day wine.

Not surprising, dear boy, as I donate most of it.

You are a boring and demented soul.

That is precisely why the club will ultimately fail mate because silly, stupid people like you come up with rubbish like this.  The money Newton gives to the club is a loan and at some point he will want it back.  Every comp ticket is effectively £15 more he has to loan the club.  BUFC has to repay this at some point.  :bunny

I think you may have some "issues".    :)

Are you saying that in a crowd of 1200 and assuming 100 are away fans that 90% of fans pay to watch the drivel served up of late.

I 'd have thought fewer fans than that actually pay.   :)
