Great stuff from the Scunny game-some top players there,Redfearn,Bennet,Balmer etc.Just a pity Neil Thompson was treated so shoddily,things could have been very different down the line.Shame the E*ans apologists got their way and the Blue Square special(needs) one came back.
Shame only one of them has returned as a "Legend".
I believe Neil Thompsons effort at keeping us up that year was the stuff of "Legends"

Leroy Chambers! There's a name from the past; he had a short spell with us before he played at Boston. We taught him everything he knew!!  ;D

Fans used to sight Neil Thompson's lack of passion when he was manager.  Not much passion there, when Loggie scored the winner ;)
