I bet I'm not the only one wondering why nearly £39,000 was owed to Rangers. My memory's not what it was. Did one of our superstars come from there?!

As have Portsmouth and Chester.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

£862.65 owed to Bradford City seems a bit strange.

I don't remember us ever signing any players - either permanently or on loan from Bradford City. A quick check of Ken's roll call (link below) seems to confirm this. We haven't signed any players directly from Bradford City since Fred Gibson, G Wilson and Ernie Wright in 1939.

I don't ever remember us playing a match against Bradford City. So why did we owe them money?

Didn't we play them one year in a pre season match?

"We've been here five years and for most of that time, the country has been in recession and it's not getting any better, in fact it's getting worse. Nobody can see an end to it at the moment.

Cheer up David, some house builders have reported an increase in business, Barratts up 14%, Persimmons too...maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel  ???

Looking at the figures do you get the impression some of the players were more productive  off the than on it.?

Are you talking about the money owed to the groin and hernia clinic?

DN is correct we had Danny stay 3months and Davidson got p*ssed off and left after 3/4
weeks .
Not remembering his exact words but I recall Mcfraud boasting on BBC Lincs along the
lines ,
"Due to my great relationship with the people at Rangers I have managed to secure these boys on loan cheaply "    does that sound about right ?

So between them these two players were on the payroll approx 20 weeks .  Simple maths tell us that these players were considered by Evans " cheap" at £2k a week each

With Steves bargain signings and Jon Sotnics great vision for the future it would be no problem building up a  £3million debt.

We mullered them that last League pre-season. Lewis Brooks even scored in the last minute. Sounds like travel costs to me.
