good to see the organisers sorting out a midweek fixture to workington as that original date will never be played

Altrincham away just before Christmas and Workington the first week of January - pretty rubbish - won't be going to either of those !

Would be better if they organised it so that more local games were played during December and January.

Stalybridge on a Tuesday. Wicked.
I create YouTube videos (BUFC/FM/CM 01-02), and stream Football Manager on Twitch as BostonUnitedFM.

We do well there mid week  :-\

Anyone got the fixtures as an iCal file so I can be lazy and auto add them?
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Never taken a single point at Bower Fold in 5 attempts weekend or midweek. 1 of those was the year we won the conf and they where relegated and 2 seasons ago when we finished third in conf north and they were mid-table. A truly bogey ground for us.

I've also never seen us take a point at Worcester in 4 attempts although we have won there many years ago.

Very true. But Worcester have sold / are in the process of selling St George's Lane and I believe they're going to ground-share at Kidderminster.

Aggborough has been a happier hunting ground - Andy Kirk's hat-trick for example.

I was under the impression that this season is the last at St. George's Lane, according to this Worcester fan.

I remember Kirky's hat-trick like it was yesterday, how time flies...

Its been Tuesday for the past two or three seasons - selfishly ok for me as its only about 16 miles away - but have we ever even taken a point from Bower Fold no matter whether Saturday or midweek? It was a 1-2 defeat in the season we won the Conference and the last two seasons its been 0-3, albeit one of those defeats did flatter Celtic somewhat. Still I'll be there again - maybe this season things will change??

I went to the Worcester away game the season we won the Doc Martens, a Monday night I think. We won 2-1 and the first half was possibly the best I have ever seen a Boston team play - I told my mate (who lived in Worcester at the time) that we were always that good, but I don't think he was convinced...

Was indeed, I got there a bit late, parked down a side street and got a mouthful from a local resident on my return. He shouted, 'I hope you have had a good evening as mines been ruined', probably didn't help that I had a massive grin on my face thanks to the three points!

I think Paul Watts had about 5 one on ones that night......and fluffed the lot!

Did Gary Childs score a belter?

I do remember hanging on grimly at the end, if we'd not won it'd have been a travesty.

Highlight of the night was leaving late and getting some chips and the Utd team bus pulling up with JB stumping up £120 for fish and chips about 20 times........he was not a happy bunny!!!!

That was just Evans' helping.......... ;)
