Something at which you failed miserably this season Mr Newton? ;)  Discuss.

Of course, Scouse Git, you could always dip into those deep pockets of yours, plus getting a contribution from 'the family', and help the club out.

Surely you realise that the LOCAL supporters are probably also customers of 'the family' and by helping the club you might even increase your coffers.

Pray, dear boy, please tell all us LOCAL supporters, when you ever watched the team or put a pound the club's way.

If the answer is 'bugger all' then please go away and stop your sh*t stirring from afar.

Gus,

I remember when Scouse was a season ticket holder for a number of years, thus contributing towards the Club.

that's a cheap shot, having been a match sponsor on a few occasions i can honestly say that the hospitality package at york street puts some of the league clubs i've experienced to shame, gus is a great host and his enthusiasm is top class .so spare your claptrap for another topic

I should have put 'WHEN' you last watched.

Sorry, but I get wound up when people like the Scouser criticise unfairly while doing nothing to help the club.

And, I am not afraid to hide behind various nom-de-plumes, but use the nickname I have been known by for the past 61 years.

Although I have attend almost all games home and away over the last few years I have never had a season ticket. This year I will be puchasing one as I believe the club will be moving forward on many fronts including a new ground, and it will be important for the board to know that they have comittment from the fans, I therefore encourage all to do the same if you are able, although I do know for some it is dificult in these tough economic times.
Although not my choice I will be giving my full backing to Jason and wish him all the best for a successful season.

I will be buying a season ticket as I have done since the last regime left .
As oxo  says in these hard times sacrifices have to be made .
I have just made my sacrifice by cancelling an item of furniture that the wife had ordered
from Oldrids Downtown.

I think you'll find DFS much better on price GHM especially if you're on a low income ;)

Mr Evans used to encourage me to do likewise Gussie-boy. Would you lend money to a business with few tangible assets, where costs are higher than income, where the shares are worthless, and where one of the hosts is about as welcoming a Louisiana Crayfish in one's underpants?  :)

Anyway, are you going to engage in debate as originally asked in my post above?
