Gotta disagree with the gunslinger, I thought that the pace of the game showed just how cumbersome Suarez is, not a lot of pace at all.

For me, Boston deserved the draw because they could have won the game twice over with the chances they had but Hucknall will argue that it was good goalkeeping and not poor finishing that kept the score down. In all honesty you could not really argue with that.

I wonder though if the management might consider that they got it slightly wrong today.

I would have thought that Camm, Davidson and Clarke were rested because of the frequency of games being played, they certainly weren't injured. But a certain amount of balance was reintroduced to the team when they all took to the pitch and an equaliser started to look all the more likely.

Suarez does the ugly stuff a lot better than Davidson. His touch and pressence is a lot more useful in the physical side of the game. Thought he played well, one of the plus points today, yes he takes a while to get up to pace but the way we play doesn't really need him to make darting runs, the other two do that.

Man of the match for me was Church. The lad is class when he has the ball but will run through brick walls when he hasn't.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

A lot better well done lads, great entertainment and some nice football.  I think we lack a decent striker, but ay ho we are in the unidump.

Way better than the Kendal match, I may even go next week ;D

Why did we cheer a draw ???

Was a fantastic game today, as others have said had so many chances to win 2 or 3 games over. Personally think credit must go mainly to their keeper but when he was beaten their defenders performed heroics on the goal line. They came with a simple game plan of defending and hitting us on the break and scored their only 2 chances which very nearly netted them all 3, but think they'll still be happy with a point. Is 2 points dropped as I can't see them being anywhere near the top but due to the lateness of the equaliser am happy with a point.

Think it is harsh blaming our strikers, on another day with a different keeper we'd have won that game by 3 or 4. All last season the call was that the team showed no commitment, passion or pride in the shirt...all these attributes where clear today and I'm proud of the way the lads battled today to get what in the end looked an unlikely point. With regards the changes thought Camm made a big difference when he came on for Matt Austin (who was a bit dissapointing today) but didn't think Clarke and Davidson had as much impact as some on here think and Dotty and Mikel both had good games.

Man of the match for me was Church. The lad is class when he has the ball but will run through brick walls when he hasn't.

Don't usually have favourite players but Church is fast becoming mine, and that LCB sums him up perfectly.

When Milly comes back we will have a class midfield.

Is there really a place for Matt Austin?

He's only on loan, probably until Milly is fit..

That was bad!  I wonder if UEFA will get involved?  Maybe we shou;d send them the video?  Well anyone on Facebook should share the video so the guy can be shamed on the wider stage.

Well that decides that then, It's more clear cut from the video than it was from the Townend. To be fair to the young lad, it was the only foot he put wrong all game. If he weren't 3ft tall he would be playing at a higher level I'm sure.

Biggest moan on Spayne terrace was lack of noise from the townenders , wheres the drum Tom ?

well not saying you gotta stand in TownEnd, but instead of moaning why dont those who come over to the TownEnd ? wont harm anything might get it going abit

+ about the drum , tbh i like taking it just i never know weather too take it becasue sometimes theres up too 3or4 around the TownEnd and its all abit much , if i dont take my drum i do sure add my voice too the noise we do make

Ended up going to the game yesterday and was happy to see the quality of football from our boys. We were always looking to get the ball down and pass it around which was a massive contrast to the long ball football Hucknall and most teams in this div play. Missed chances was the main story for us as we could have easily been 3 up at half time. Church is class, he puts himself about and has loads of quality on the ball - he also allows Sleath to get into more advanced positions where he can be deadly! Great midfield pairing we have there! Suarez had a decent game winning most of his headers, just feel he could do with a bit more aggression. It was only a soft pen from the ref that denied us 3 points.
Overall, we are still unbeaten this season and if we carry on like that I'd be more than happy!! Its looking good!

Always good to see the  oppostions view on the game...

Quote
Can't say i disagree with much of it. We wasted a lot of time and paid the penalty but so do a lot of teams but how often is 7 minutes of time added on. Maybe it wasn't a penalty but we should have had 4 so far this season and had none so may be we were due a decision.
Funny game should have been battered really but could have won it in the end thanks to a super display by Haystead some committed defending and some rank bad finishing. I would have taken a draw so i'm happy with the point just a pity we couldn't hang on. Boston were the best team i've seen so far and i reckon they'll go close to promotion.
Right gripe time. Segregation at this level are you having a bloody laugh. Escorting my wife and daughter to a tea bar because they couldn't be arsed to open the away section one.Putting us in an end where you couldn't even see the goal mouth but still expect the same tenner. If there are any friendly Boston fans i never had the pleasure to meet one. The walk back to the car was the most uncomfortable one  i've had at this level.

Can't say I disagree with much of that,

I'm all for segregation however, makes more of an big game intimidating atmosphere for the opposition and if you had spread their 40 or so fans around the ground you wouldn't have even know they had scored with regards noise.

Also when you have 1400+ in the ground you are bound to have a few rotten eggs in that lot and I would much rather they go home safe than moaning about how they have been treated.  You always, always give the away fans the worst view with regards segregation, IT'S THE LAW

Its better to just sling them where they are now than take up the whole townend just for their 40 fans.
