Today's Match
« on: August 31, 2009, 10:30:35 AM »
The only thing missing from an ideal start to the season is that ever important first home win.

Hopefully today will see this, and lets also hope that the home fans give them 100% support throughout what could be a tough, physical match.

Come on Boston!!!

less of the moaning by some would be a helpful start on the 100% support throughout matter

shouts of your rubbish after 20 mins, as against Kendal,  must make some players question why they came here.

Correct, what is it about 20 minutes, that's always the time the shouts start (unless we have gone in front before then). Despite the incredible start if it is still 0-0 after 20 today you'll hear them start...

there were a lot of shouts last time but i thought they were definately a lot more behind the team most of the game and there were more mutterings than shouts.

To be fair teams must love playing us at York Street, all they have to do is put 10 men behind the ball and play spoiling tactics and then our own supporters will do the rest for them.  We are going to have a lot of teams come with the ambition of a clean sheet draw at this level, so the fans need to be patient and supportive.  I guess its a straight choice for the fans, either act as the 12th man for our own team, or for the opposition.
