Going Green
« on: March 29, 2012, 08:39:44 PM »
For anyone interested, there were two ex-Pilgrims who switched clubs on Transfer Deadline Day in the EvoStik League:-

  • Jamie Green from Brigg Town to Bradford Park Avenue. He played for us on loan from Rotherham last year.
  • Franny Green (no relation  :D ) has moved from Eastwood Town to Ilkeston Town. I believe that was the club where he started his career.

I don't want to restart the debate about signing ex-players, but does anyone else think both of these could still do a job at a higher level than where they have ended up?

EDIT: Full list of transfers here:-

Ollie Ryan and Cecil Nyoni both played for Frickley on Saturday... then Ryan played for Holbeach this week. Grant Darley also played for Frickley.

Jon Froggatt always seems to score for Belper when I look at their reports, as does Jamie Clarke for Loughborough Dynamo. Sam Mulready scored twice for Brigg on Saturday, but I think he is on loan from Trinity.
I create YouTube videos (BUFC/FM/CM 01-02), and stream Football Manager on Twitch as BostonUnitedFM.

Wasn't Nyoni the lad who played a couple of games and then went back to W*dnesday because he thought BSN was beneath him?

And he end up at Frickley.........
