Ricky Miller

This isn't a "lets sign Rick Miller" brain wave I'm just wondering where/how the lad is doing these days.

He was nothing short of heroric in his short spell here, last I heard he was at Stamford and that was a while a go.

Would like to think he's somewhere doing well for himself.

He's had more clubs since Stamford - Cambridge City and Aylesbury FC. The last I heard he was at Wealdstone - where Wes Parker also plays.

He's now playing for Spalding United in the UCL, been out of the game for a few months but should still be playing at a higher level than that.

Scored 2 on Saturday including a last minute penalty in their 3-3 draw.

Could be decent cover if SWD is out for any length of time.

He never seems to stay at one club for more than a few weeks.

If he stayed in one place for a whole season he would probably be playing at a higher level than UCL because he's got an eye for goal and from what I remember from his spell at Boston, puts in a lot of effort on the pitch.

Players at this level would soon work out his temperament - they'd just wind him up until he got himself sent off

He looked a talented and hard-working player when he was here before,  but with a limited budget/squad size you can't carry someone who will be suspended every other week
