Lincoln City and Boston United. In their own ways they are having difficulties. Perhaps a solution could be unification of both clubs and have a Lincolnshire United. Lincoln would get a better team and Boston would have somewhere to play.

The single most wonderful post there has ever been on this mad, mad forum.

A Sheffield City team?
A Bristol United?
A Nottingham Rovers?
Liverton?
What about a Boston United? (one without a Boston Town)

1881 Formation of Ilford FC
1886 Formation of Leystonestone FC
1900 Formation of Walthamstow Avenue FC
1949 Formation of Dagenham FC
Then the madness starts ...
1979 Leytonstone FC merge with Ilford FC to become Leytonstone & Ilford
1988 Walthamstow Avenue are absorbed into Leytonstone & Ilford
1989 New merger club renamed from Leytonstone & Ilford to Redbridge Forest
1992 Dagenham merge with Redbridge Forest to become Dagenham & Redbridge
Yes, there in the Football League now. But they're not particularly successful or well supported. And how many years of tradition have been sacrificed?

The thing is, in business this would probably happen. Financially, it would sense in a lot of cases. One team in Bristol, Sheffield etc

I know its poss been mentioned before but would BOSTON benefit from only having ONE senior club. I know cries of 'it'll never happen' will go up. MV is a great fund raiser!
