I think I'd prefer a ball winner for the middle of the park.

Is that the Connor Marshall who was at Grimsby last year? Looked a decent player when I watched him!

Good luck Connor - hope you have a good start to your Boston career tomorrow

Does this mean Jordan Fairclough will be leaving?  3 right backs in the squad now, including Canners.

Or might it be worthwhile trying Jordan in a more attacking role?  He's got pace and energy - could be worth giving him a go on the right of midfield if Semple isn't fully fit.  He's not bad going forward, and it might suit him to have less defensive responsibility.

We still need a quality central defender and a big striker so that Jason can have a rest, but some changes were needed and it looks as though SWD and Marshall will improve the squad - let's hope they can put in an improved performance tomorrow.

Dont know about the big striker, Maybe nice to see the team forced into playing it on the deck as on our day i still think we have some of the best passers at this level.
What i would like to see is Jason lee put himself on the bench more often and only used When needed.

This IMO would be a far better tactic in games as 1. It will force us to pass and play football 2. It will give us a manager 3.It will give us that option later in games if needed.

Agree with the need a decent CD someone with a bit of pace but as we all know Quality like that comes at a price

Could JF do a job in midfield? Plenty of energy, and likes to pass the ball around.
