Who is managing the team?
« on: January 07, 2012, 09:09:45 PM »
Why the hell is that fitness coach giving orders on the touch line ? If I was Mr Newton I would be asking the same question to LC and JL? I know you read this Jason and Lee so can you explain it on here!

On a number of occasions JL was giving the orders to the fitness coach and he was then passing them on. You got to say though, another late goal - we have great fitness. There's always a positive out there !

The reason we were able to score a late goal yesterday was because we didn't put any attacking effort into the first hour of the game. We just passed the ball from side to side and conserved energy.

No it wasn't.....the reason we didn't score was because we had no width until our wingers came on and when we did have a winger on the pitch (Chris Hall) we didn't play him in his best position...

Now lets be honest, it doesn't take a genious to see that we put in very little effort

Last year how many extra points did we pick up just by being that quicker to the ball, that stronger in a challenge

thats the difference between this year and last

rob and paul had players running through brick walls for them
Jason and lee are happy for the players to do the minim and themselves included

but its fine isn't it because they keep telling us 'our season starts now'  'we're getting there' we'll be pushing' what a load of rubbish - just show some passion!

The effort is there, I think that is obvious!

We lack a bit of quality (both at the back since White left, and up front since Dudfield moved on), and also confidence. The players seem scared to shoot on sight - probably because they get booed if they miss! Even Sleath, who has scored several long-range efforts for us, seems unwilling to leather the ball at goal unless he's 18 yards out and in the middle of the goal.
I create YouTube videos (BUFC/FM/CM 01-02), and stream Football Manager on Twitch as BostonUnitedFM.

If he is on the pay role get rid and free up some cash for players. My thoughts on the subject are as follows, pre-season it's a good idea to ramp up fitness levels with a pro coach, in the season pro and semi pro players should be capable of loking after themselves with the aid of the Managers
